We take the current COVID situation very seriously, and want our staff and customers to be 100% safe, knowing that we are doing everything we can.
We have trained all of our staff in the best working practices, and to support them have put the following in place.
We have asked the staff who can work at home to do so, giving access to machines where possible.
Staff that are unable to work from home are working at the factory where we have made all the necessary changes to the layout in the factory so people can observe social distancing.
Staff are required to wear masks at all times, and santitizer is supplied and easily accessible at all key locations, with people encouraged to take hand wash breaks and observe special hygiene protocols.
If we outsource, such as cutting etc. all items are left to sit for a few days before we work on them.
Anyone who needs to travel within Indonesia for religious or personal reasons is counselled to do so observing any travel rules in operation in Bali and throughout Indonesia.
On their return, Berawa’s policy is that they are required to quarantine for 2 weeks.
These measures initially affected our production time-lines a little, but we have been able to adapt and make health of our staff and the cleanliness of our products our priority during these difficult times.
We are proud that we have been able teach our staff how to handle this pandemic, and their willingness to adopt to the new rules.
Putting in place these simple but effective measures has ensured that we are all healthy, safe and happy.
